NEW FROM DR. MICHAEL YOUSSEF

"How do you keep Christ at the center of your Christmas celebrations?"

Young Children placing ornaments on a Christmas Tree

"We light a new candle and read a Bible story every Sunday leading up to Christmas."

As we seek to fix our eyes on Christ in a culture driven by materialism, Leading The Way friends and partners share the creative ways they celebrate the glory of Christ's arrival—keeping Christ at the center of their traditions.

THE KHOUZAM FAMILY

"When we lived in Syria, we would go to a poor neighborhood or a Muslim neighborhood and knock on the doors to sing a Christmas song to the kids and give them a small gift and a Bible."

THE KLAYMAN FAMILY

"We light a new candle and read a Bible story every Sunday leading up to Christmas. We open a few gifts on Christmas Eve morning but then focus the rest of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day on Christ."

THE KIGER FAMILY

"For 41 years, my husband and I read passages from Scripture about the birth of Jesus. Once our children were old enough, they read them, and now our oldest grandchild reads them! I also make a birthday cake for Jesus to help the little ones understand who the celebration is about."

THE KING FAMILY

"Our family used to volunteer to be a part of a live nativity. This was especially cool when the kids were old enough to participate."

THE SELF FAMILY

"We do a lot of Christ-centered charity work—making gift bags for families, delivering it to them, and telling them about Jesus."

THE MCCARTY FAMILY

"Starting on December 1, we [put out] a cradle that was our 'manger,' and we would add a piece of hay every time we did an act of love. The goal was to create a comfortable bed for Jesus to lie on by Christmas Day!"

THE HAND FAMILY

"We begin Christmas Day in the living room, where we read the Christmas passages from Matthew and Luke, sing Christmas carols, and each take a turn praying. At least one gift we give is centered on spiritual growth."

Join us in prayer and giving as we seek to get the Gospel in front of millions more people year-round.
