53 New Believers: The Gospel Breakthrough in Natore, Bangladesh

Global Work

August 1, 2026

By LTW Staff · 4M Read

A crowd of men and women in India proudly hold up bags of Gospel outreach materials during a community ministry event.

A region hostile to the Gospel. The Good News quietly delivered. A public declaration of faith. Working with Leading The Way to deliver handheld Navigators to the lost, trusted missionary partners like Minu* are shining the light of Christ into some of the darkest regions on earth. In fact, through their faithful proclamation, humble house churches are taking root as their ministry and these devices loaded with Scripture and Dr. Michael A. Youssef’s solid, Biblical teaching work in tandem to awaken souls to the hope of Christ.

Lately, in the predominantly Muslim city of Natore, Bangladesh, Nazia* and her entire family—former Muslims themselves—gave their lives to Christ and were baptized as a result of the Holy Spirit’s work through Minu and the Navigator. Despite great personal risk, Nazia has even opened her small home to fellow believers so that they can gather week after week to hear God’s Word.

Continuing the work of the Great Commission, Minu recently visited a neighboring village for the first time and encountered something unexpected. There, scattered among the villagers, were solar-powered Navigators—”pocket missionaries”— that had made their way to the people there

Minu knew they were the very same devices her team had distributed in the region months earlier. Men and women sat beneath shaded trees and outside mud-brick homes listening intently to the Word of God in their own language. Some had been listening secretly. Others had been replaying the messages night after night, letting the stories of Jesus settle deep into their hearts.

Realizing God was at work, Nazia came to help. She and Minu spread the news that they had something important to share, gathering everyone who had been listening to the Navigators—53 in total. The harvest was ripe—God had prepared the soil. Nazia shared the Gospel boldly, and one by one, hearts surrendered. By the time Nazia finished speaking, every single person there had chosen to follow Jesus.

Today, those 53 new believers are preparing for baptism. This is the impact of your faithful partnership with Leading The Way. In villages where many have never heard the name of Jesus, God is transforming entire communities. As we celebrate the 17th anniversary of the Navigator, we rejoice in what God has done and press on to reach the lost, disciple new believers, and equip people like Minu to carry the hope of Christ farther than ever before.

GOSPEL EFFORTS ACCELERATE ACROSS NATIONS AS NEW DOORS OPEN

Solar-powered, durable, and easily concealable, Navigators are the perfect tool for reaching the remotest regions on earth with the Gospel, overcoming isolation, illiteracy, technological limitations, language barriers, government restrictions, and hostile societies.

Since the development of Leading The Way‘s Navigator devices in 2009, over the last 17 years your partnership has enabled us to:

  • Deliver 251,271 devices
  • Reach an estimated 2.5 million souls
  • Minister in 25 of the world’s most spoken languages
  • Get solid Gospel teaching into 81 countries

As God opens massive new doors for the Gospel, please join us in prayer as we seek to take the Good News of Christ to the ends of the earth!

  • 5,000 Navigators just arrived in an undisclosed location in the Middle East—our first-ever shipment of this size to the region, which could expand our Gospel reach in restricted areas.
  • 10,000 Navigators have been prepared for Pakistan, one of the least-reached nations on earth with a 96% Muslim population.
  • 20,000 more devices are currently being loaded with the New Testament and 150+ of Dr. Youssef’s messages—scattered across nations where God’s Word is most needed.

Every Navigator placed in a waiting hand is more than a device—it is a witness to the living Word of God. In hostile villages, hidden homes, and unreached communities, the Gospel is going forth, souls are being saved, and new believers are being discipled. As God opens these extraordinary doors, Leading The Way is pressing forward with urgency—trusting Him to use your prayers and partnership to bring the light of Christ to those still walking in darkness.

Will you partner with us today to deliver the Gospel to the ends of the earth?
