Save for Later

When God calls His people to live generously, He is not merely asking for gifts—He is claiming our hearts. In Living Generously, Dr. Michael Youssef turns to the inerrant Word of God to show that true generosity flows from repentance, gratitude, and faith in Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God. Through the widow’s heart gift, David’s costly offering, the Macedonian church’s grace-filled sacrifice, and Christ’s warning against false security and fruitless stewardship, this series calls believers to stop trusting in self and treasure and run to the Lord alone. Because Christ gave Himself for repentant sinners, His people must give their time, resources, talents, and intercession willingly, joyfully, and sacrificially for His Kingdom.

Living Generously (Part 3)

Grace-Filled Giving

In Part 3 of Living Generously, Dr. Michael Youssef points to the Macedonian believers, whose giving flowed from hearts captured by the grace of God. Scripture, God’s inerrant Word, teaches that money is a spiritual barometer, revealing whether we trust the Lord or serve ourselves. These believers gave first to the Lord, then gave sacrificially for His work, even in severe trials and poverty. Their generosity calls us to repentance from pride, fear, and self-indulgence. Because Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, became poor so repentant sinners could become rich in Him, believers must give, serve, and intercede with joyful, obedient hearts.
