Save for Later

In From Valley to Victory, Dr. Michael Youssef leads us through the Book of Romans with bold, verse-by-verse preaching that magnifies the power of the Gospel and the authority of Scripture. This 21-part series reveals God’s sovereign plan of salvation—from our total depravity and desperate need for grace, to the righteousness found in Christ alone. With clarity and conviction, Dr. Youssef proclaims the urgent call to repentance, the believer’s freedom from condemnation, and the eternal security found in Christ. As false teaching spreads and the world drifts into darkness, Romans equips the Church to stand firm, love boldly, live holy, and proclaim the Truth without shame—until Christ returns in glory.

From Valley to Victory (Part 16)

Love That Refuses to Conform

In Romans 12:9–21, Dr. Michael Youssef calls believers to a costly discipleship that displays Christ’s love in a hostile world. True worship is more than singing—it is surrendering every moment to Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us from the inside out. This passage contains twenty-five commands that no human can obey by sheer willpower. Only the Spirit can produce a love that hates evil, honors others, serves passionately, perseveres in prayer, gives generously, rejoices and weeps with others, rejects revenge, and overcomes evil with good. Dr. Youssef warns that cultural compromise destroys Christian witness. Now is the time to repent of shallow love, yield fully to the Spirit, and let Christ’s love confront darkness through us.
