NEW FROM DR. MICHAEL YOUSSEF

The apostle Paul understood the daily power of God's grace as he experienced his great thorn:

Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:8-10)

Without His power and might, we can do nothing!

Seeking the power of God is not only pleasing to God, but it enables us to do His work and live abundantly.

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. (Colossians 1:10-12)

Are you living a defeated life? Have you tried to become self-reliant and self-sufficient? Do you depend on your own human wisdom and ingenuity to navigate through life? If so, God wants you to fully depend upon His power and might in your everyday life. You may acknowledge Him as the powerful Creator God, but He also wants you to know His power personally.

Without His power and might, we can do nothing.

Prayer: Mighty God, thank You for Your power that is available to me personally. Help me to depend on Your power today. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe" (Ephesians 1:18-19).
