The first thing you have to do is be sure you are spending time with God. In the days of the early church, the Bible says that the nonbelievers knew that the disciples had been with Jesus (Acts 4:13). It just showed up on their faces. As you spend time with God, you will see Him giving you favor among the people in your life. . . . We make excuses, but if you are really serious about intimacy with Christ, things are going to happen around you—in your company, neighborhood, campus, home, and workplace. God will give you favor, just like He did with the disciples and the prophets of old.
