Sweet Surrender

The enemies of Christ would like us to believe that obedience is too great a burden. But nothing could be further from the Truth. Rather, it is sin that burdens. Sin eclipses joy and divides our hearts, homes, and churches. But when we acknowledge, confess, and reject sin, when we repent and submit to the easy yoke of Jesus (see Matthew 11:28-30), our joy is restored. In today’s devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef reveals that it is sin that enslaves.
