Save for Later

God established marriage for our blessing, our holiness, and our Gospel witness. In Marriage: The Way God Intended It, Dr. Michael Youssef calls believers back to the inerrant Word of God, where marriage is revealed as God’s created order: one man and one woman joined by Him in a sacred, exclusive, and lasting union. This series confronts divorce, passivity, selfishness, rebellion, and discontentment while calling husbands, wives, singles, and families to repent, intercede, and obey Christ. As homes come under attack, God’s people must stand on Biblical Truth, trust the power of the Holy Spirit, and honor the Lord Jesus Christ in marriage, family, and singleness.

Marriage: The Way God Intended It (Part 4)

Develop Your Blessor’s Characteristics

In Develop Your Blessor’s Characteristics, Dr. Michael Youssef warns that secular voices cannot define marriage; only the inerrant Word of God gives the true blueprint. Peter calls believing spouses to reflect Christ, the Son of God, through holy conduct, inner beauty, fear of God, and unity in prayer. A wife’s faithful witness must not become nagging, and a husband must know, honor, and cherish his wife. Both must repent of selfishness, division, and pride. Believers must intercede for homes under spiritual attack, trusting God to save, heal, and strengthen marriages according to His design.
