Save for Later

When God calls His people to live generously, He is not merely asking for gifts—He is claiming our hearts. In Living Generously, Dr. Michael Youssef turns to the inerrant Word of God to show that true generosity flows from repentance, gratitude, and faith in Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God. Through the widow’s heart gift, David’s costly offering, the Macedonian church’s grace-filled sacrifice, and Christ’s warning against false security and fruitless stewardship, this series calls believers to stop trusting in self and treasure and run to the Lord alone. Because Christ gave Himself for repentant sinners, His people must give their time, resources, talents, and intercession willingly, joyfully, and sacrificially for His Kingdom.

Living Generously (Part 1)

The Widow’s Heart Gift

In this opening message of Living Generously, Dr. Michael Youssef points us to the poor widow whom Christ Himself commended. While others gave from abundance, she gave all she had, not to impress men, but to honor God. Scripture shows that Jesus, the divine Son of God, sees not only our actions but our hearts. True generosity begins with repentance from selfishness and surrender to the Lord who owns everything. God does not need our money; He wants our hearts. When believers give time, resources, talents, and intercession willingly, joyfully, and sacrificially, their giving becomes an act of worship that God uses for His Kingdom.
