Save for Later

In this 9-part series, Dr. Michael Youssef leads you through the life of Jacob to show how fear deceives, but the sovereign grace of God frees, restores, and overrules. From Jacob’s scheming and family strife to his Bethel encounter, surrender, restitution, and final struggle against unbelief, the inerrant Word of God reveals that the Almighty is never defeated by human failure. His covenant promise stands firm, pointing to Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God and the only Savior. This series calls believers to repent of self-rule, reject fear and false guilt, intercede with faith, and trust God’s perfect timing. Even through weakness, scars, and spiritual warfare, God brings His will to pass for His glory.

Fear Deceives, Grace Frees (Part 7)

Restoration and Restitution

In this message, Dr. Michael Youssef shows from the inerrant Word of God that true surrender must bear the fruit of repentance. After God changed Jacob’s heart, Jacob had to face Esau, confess the wrong, and make restitution. He could not hide behind excuses, blame, or the passing of time. God’s grace had gone before him, preparing the way for reconciliation. This message calls believers to search their hearts, repent of bitterness and hidden sin, ask forgiveness where wrong has been done, and intercede for God’s restoring power. Through Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, grace not only forgives; grace restores and frees.
